BY-LAWS
A.
Membership of the Association is open to all Asantes and others who subscribe to the aims and
objectives of the Association.
B.
An active member of the Association shall be one who has paid his/her membership registration
fee, monthly dues, and other assessed financial obligations to the Association and actively
participates in the affairs of the Association.
C.
A Life member (who is an inactive member of the Association) shall be one who had been an
active member of the Association in good standing for at least 10 years and shall be at least of
75 years of age and whose membership application has been approved. All membership
application fees, monthly dues, and other assessed financial obligations to the Association and
active participation in the affairs of the Association are waived.
D.
Every prospective member of the Association shall complete an application form furnished by
the Association. Membership shall become effective after the approval of the application form
by the Association or thirty (30) days after the submission of the application form if such
application is not acted upon.
